Come art with us! Come as you are and collage the evening away with good peeps at Buttermonkey Vintage & Arts.
We will supply glue, brushes, scissors, art paper to collage on, a bunch of magazines, light snacks and funky music.
You bring extra magazines if you have them (not required), other items to collage on if you'd rather not use paper (like little cardboard boxes or wood shapes available in crafting stores) and BYOB if you like!
Due to BYOB, children must be accompanied by a parent or trusted adult.
We can't wait to hang out with you and make dumb dad jokes like "Who arted?"!!!

Beginner Level Sewing Class
Learn to repair torn seams, replace buttons, patch holes, take up long pant legs and take in clothing that's a little too large.
Mostly a hand sewing class but a sewing machine will be available if you'd like to try your hand at sewing with a machine. Needles, thread and scissors will be supplied but please feel free to bring your own should you already have some!
If you're looking to patch an item, please bring your own patches or better yet, pieces of fabric you could use as the patch (such as an old t-shirt or pair of jeans).
Come on down and enjoy some light snacks, good peeps and fun music while we mend our little hearts out.
BYOB if you like! Due to BYOB, children must be accompanied by a parent or trusted adult.
Come on in for a fun night of swapping clothing with others from the local community!

How it works:
Bring in your clothing that you're just not feeling anymore, drop them on a table and then go buck wild snagging shiney "new" clothing from the piles.
The last clothing swap we hosted was a smash! 8 tables piled high with free treasures and people leaving with giant armfulls of free clothes.
All clothing left behind will be donated to another clothing swap or a local thrift store.
Together, let's make sure no useable clothing ends up in the landfill.

Weather you want to explore new styles, new forms of self expression, or a totally new you, YOU are invited to join us for a lovely gathering of community on Sunday, 2/23 from 4:pm-7:pm inside Buttermonkey Vintage & Arts.
We'll have fun music, drag, light refreshments, and good times. Suggested donation of $5 and we suggest bringing at least 5 pieces of clothing, but we are open to all so if that's out of your reach right now, that's ok. Bring your guitar and play a song. Bring a game. BYOB for those of age. Bring friends!!! We can't wait to see you!
